Let it Come Down CD Release Date and Party: Friday February 26th @ Red Room at the Grill!

The debut album from Arizona visionary inebriated psych rockers The Swigs is now available on Itunes! Recorded in analog at Loveland Studios, by Nathan Sabatino, the record is simultaneously completely new and modern, whilst retaining "old school" production values for songwriting, killer riffs, thought-provoking lyrics, and quality control. There is nothing "retro" about these songs -- the music takes hard rock into terra ingognita.
Welcome to a new paradigm -- from the anthemic title track to the uptempo pop of "Sleeping Sickness" to the complex riffing of "Freak Flag", "Let it Come Down" is Visionary Desert Rock as it's never been heard before.

Download the brand new Swigs album for a mere $8.91 on Itunes!

The Swigs purvey an energetic buzzed fusion of rock 'n roll, "ambient, psychedelic, drifting and strange", "oozing cool in a way that's hard to put your finger on" (Subcity Radio, Glasgow, UK). Showcasing the song-writing, enthusiastic performance, and guitar artistry of founder, Kevin Henderson, the multi-instrumental genius of Eric Snyder on bass and harmonica, and the nuclear explosion that is drummer Blaine Rybke, the Swigs deliver a unique performance every night, but "powerful" is something you can count on.

"Whether playing acoustic or electric, Henderson proves his mettle, producing a fevered sound that at times recalls the folk, pop, country, blues, prog rock and jazz of musical progenitors Jeff Beck, Sandy Bull, Steve Howe, Bill Nelson and Leo Kottke, among others." -- Gene Armstrong, Tucson Weekly, 12/27/2007
